I just received a note from the class VP with some interesting statistics (remember this is year 2 of Medicine, 1st semester which consisted of 15 weeks total) …

If you’ve attended every class/lecture/group session, and did 3 hours of Family practice each session, you will have spent 393 hours in class since August 27th. Here’s how it’s been broken down:

Problem Based Learning (small group): 84 hours
Family Medicine lectures: 103 hours
Family practice clinical sessions: 46 hours
Physician, Patient & Public: 36 hours
Clinical Skills Lectures / Sessions: 35 hours
Anatomy: 32.5 hours
Histology: 29.5 hours
Pathology: 27 hours

We have approximately 250 hours until our lab exams, so happy studying.
